At Ryan’s request, I  was busy in the kitchen, excitedly creating a gluten-free German Chocolate Cake. It was amazingly rich & moist without being too sweet. Germans do make some phenomenal desserts though. Followed the recipe to a T & it turned out AMAZING!!

Question: with the coconut cream, if I scoop out the cream, do I toss (save for something else) the water and only use the cream? For the sweetener, I prefer to use a Monk Fruit/Erythritol Blend. I even used all of the regular refined sugar and butter the recipe calls for. If you want to use food coloring for this frosting, you cannot use maple or coconut sugar, because it will turn the frosting brown and vegetable food coloring does not have strong enough pigment to cover the brown color from the sugar.
